Dedicated to the memory of Amanda Moriarty
This site is a tribute to Amanda Moriarty who was much loved by her family and friends. Amanda was a very talented stained and fused glass artist. In addition to spending time teaching this art to others at the Stanton Guildhouse she was the Treasurer of the Contemporary Glass Society for many years. She was also a very keen knitter who would think nothing of producing a few jumpers in just one evening! In addition to these artistic abilities, Amanda even found time to support her local community in Stroud where she was made the Mayor. Amanda had a positive impact on the lives of many people and is now so sadly missed by John, Ben and Sam and by all who knew her.

Thoughts
Thank you Amanda for finding my way through losing my Mum. You introduced me to fused glass at Stanton in 2008, and your passion and enthusiasm affected me hugely. I have now been the owner of Mullion Glass Studio for nearly 5 years, and I think of you often. R. I. P inspirational lady. X
